Where do I find filters?
TB Sync · sales-channels · Last updated November 6, 2026 · Version 1
This process works in apps: TB Sync, TB Books, TB POS, TB One, TB WMS
This article will teach you how to tell search filters apart from settings pages, and which screen holds them in each app.
“Filters” means a different screen depending on the app you have open. In TB Sync it is the search sidebar on the B2B portal or the website widget. In TB Books and TB POS it is the sidebar on product search. Saved tabs on Orders are Filter Views, which is a settings page. The names on the sidebar — Brand, Season, Warranty, Distribution center, and the rest — are the names under Search Filters.
Steps
- Check which app you are in. The chat header shows it, and the app icon in the corner is the same clue.
- In TB Sync, open Sales Channels and select the B2B portal or the website widget. Open Search Filters. Tires, Wheels, and Parts each have a list. Drag a name to change the order dealers or shoppers see. Sync Inventory uses those same names.
- In TB Books, open Products and use the sidebar on the search results. Those names match Search Filters. Saved tabs on Orders are Settings → Filter Views.
- In TB POS, use the sidebar on tire and product search. Orders views and columns are under Settings → POS Preferences.
- To find a settings page, open Settings and use the search box at the top. Organization Settings (Tax Rates, Price Levels, Employees / Users, and the rest) is the same list in every app. App Settings sits above that list.
- If you opened chat from TB One, One does not have the product-search sidebar. Say whether you mean the B2B portal, product search in Books or POS, or a settings page.
Conclusion & best practices
Search Filters is the list of sidebar names. Filter Views is the saved tabs on Orders. The search box in Settings finds a page when you know the name and not the menu. A name you add under Search Filters shows up on the sidebar for that tires, wheels, or parts list.
