0:00 Hello and welcome back to another TireBase tutorial. In this video, you'll learn how to update inventory quantities manually and in bulk.
0:14 The Update Stock option in Products & Services allows you to adjust one product at a time.
0:22 Search for a product using its manufacturer product number, tire size, brand, or style.
0:35 Enter a positive quantity to add inventory or a negative quantity to remove inventory.
0:45 Select the appropriate bin and enter a movement reason before completing the adjustment.
1:04 The new quantity and movement reason can be reviewed in the product's Unit Tracking Report.
1:26 To update multiple products at once, go to Settings → Data Migration.
1:33 Bulk updates are available for tires, wheels, and parts.
1:44 Select the appropriate product type, click Export, and download the file containing your current products.
2:16 Open the spreadsheet and update the Stock column for the products you want to modify.
2:33 Bulk stock updates replace the existing inventory quantity. They do not add the entered amount to the current stock.
3:13 You can also update product costs in the same file, including the standard cost when needed.
3:25 Save the completed spreadsheet and upload it through the Data Migration section.
4:10 Review the import warnings carefully. Blank product costs or stock quantities may be replaced with zero.
4:36 Accept the data import terms and continue. The file will process while you continue working in other TireBase modules.
4:53 After processing, review the completed, validated, and skipped row totals.
5:14 If rows were skipped, download the results file to identify errors such as missing brands, invalid styles, or unsupported values.
6:04 Return to Products & Services and open the Unit Tracking Report to confirm the updated inventory.
6:18 The tracking report records the data migration adjustment, new balance, and the user who made the change.
7:04 Use Update Stock for individual adjustments and Data Migration when you need to update inventory in bulk.
7:12 Contact our support team if you have any questions regarding this procedure. Have a great day.
