Learn how to use the Data Migration module to import products, customers, and inventory into TireBase in bulk.
Navigate to Settings → Data Migration and select the type of data you want to import, such as Tires, Wheels, Parts, Customers, or Customer History.
Download the appropriate Excel template using the Export → Download Template option.
Complete the required fields marked with an asterisk, including Manufacturer Product Number, Brand, and Size. Stock and Cost are also recommended when importing inventory.
Ensure product information is formatted correctly, especially brand names and tire sizes, to avoid creating duplicate or invalid records.
Upload the completed template and review the import disclaimer before confirming the process.
Understand that Data Migration overwrites existing stock and cost values for matching products rather than adding to the current inventory.
Monitor the import log after processing to verify the number of imported rows and identify any skipped or failed records.
If errors occur, download the generated report to review the validation messages and correct the affected rows before importing again.
Use the Specs templates (Tire Specs, Wheel Specs, or Part Specs) to update existing product information such as styles, descriptions, sizes, and other specifications without reimporting the entire inventory.
